Hobart’s Festival of Voices, 2024

The Brunswick Women’s Choir has recently returned from a wonderful weekend spent singing at the Festival of Voices in Hobart, Tasmania.

This festival sees choirs around Australia packing their warmest winter woollies and travelling south to Tasmania, to sing at pop-up events around Hobart.

We layered up our blues to sing at Salamanca Place, historic Narryna House, the Sunday Farm Gate Market and the festival’s Singers’ Lounge.

We were also incredibly honoured to be selected as part of the showcase performance, A Capella Spectacular, held at Federation Concert Hall.

Blessed with crisp, but decidedly sunny weather, we enjoyed seeing (and eating) everything Hobart has to offer, around performing.
